As the winner of the national pitch, SENTO Solutions team (Andro Bunić, Jakov Bajić, Petar Fruk and Moreno Pavličić) was given a privilege of choosing one of the regional finals and they have chosen to compete in Dubai. Other teams' projects from the national final pitch were additionally evaluated by the organizing committee of the HULT Prize competition and were shortlisted for the following round. So, the members of the committee have selected three more teams to compete in the regional final in Tunisia:
A-Farm Biofuels (Helena Jovović, Juraj Borić and Katarina Jurić)
CroTeam (Matija Lukić, Mia Brajković, Mirna Maravić and Tena Jelečanin)
Hempy (Ivan Pavao Gvajec, Matej Triska, Filip Gorupić and Hrvoje Vrčić)
In this year's competition students’ task was to propose socio-entrepreneurial ideas and projects on the topic of "Harnessing the Power of Energy". The participation of students from all over the world and the global importance of the challenges are the reason why this competition is also known as the ”Nobel Prize for students“.
In the regional finals, students will compete for the main final and the award of 1,000,000 U.S. dollars for the realization of their idea/project.
